For me that episode was very interesting becuase is related whith other topics we have seen!..
Jodi: for her was very important what other people said so she want to loose weight. But now we see how she finished, worst than beofore. Yo have to be like you are if anybody love you he will love like you are not by the appearence.
I like this blog!
Thank you solana. It is so good that you feel like that. It is true, if someone loves you, he or she didn`t fall for your looks but for the way you are.
In my opinion this episode is fantastic because is related wiht things we had study . These problem Jodi had is because she is always thinking in what people think about her appearence and don`t care about fellings.

This episode was great and really intresting because is relationeited with other subjets we already seen in class...
This episode talk about an adoloscent call Jodi. She wants to loose weight because she is looking for perfection but only in appearance.
She worried about what other people think about her...We don`t have to be like her because people have to love us like we are.
this episode was really interesting bec' in classes we have seen this topic and it's a very deep topic. this episode was about an adolescent that had some problems at school, she was overweight and some students laughed at her bec' of her problem, meanwhile her friends protected her but Jodi was so sad that she didn't care what her friends said so she started a strict diet and that was worst bec' then everything she ate was high in calories that made become her into a monster.
conclusion: jodi only cared about her fisical appearence and it's true that isn't nice when the others have fun of you but something that everybody should know is that nobody's perfect!
GGRRRRREAT!! LULU, VICKY, UKY,SOL.... NICE COMMENTS. I AM SO PROUD AND HAPPY TO SEE THAT ALL THE TOPICS WE SEE AND DISCUSS IN CLASS ARE RELEVANT AND IMPORTANT TO YOU. THIS IS THE AIM OF OUR G.S. CLASSES. SO WHEN I SEE THAT YOU REALLY GOT THE MESSAGE AFTER DISCUSSING SUCH AN IMPORTANT AND DANGEROUS ISSUE LIKE EATING DISORDERS, I AM SO PROUD AND HAPPY TO SAY:
"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!"
=)
For me is a very good idea to create a blog of english, is more fun to make homework by this way. This episode is related to the topic of anorexia that we see in Global Studies classes, because they think they are making a good thing to him self, but see what happened to jodi, she stop eating and now she have to eat people. They are better when they are how they are. Jodi have to be like she is and the people have to like or love, like Pete, how she is.
Good bye!!!

Sorry if y have any mistake
Hi Alina. How are you?
Well, I decided to write a reaction about the episode of Carving where Jodi is suffering an eating disorder. In my opinion she has a psicological problem. Like the text of anorexia that we read in class. I think that it is also related with the poem I thought I had to be perfect, she cares about what other people thinks about her, she wants to be thin and to have a nice body. She demostrated that she is an axious person in the sense that she wants to be nice as fast as posible. I think that only with a good diet and physical activity her problems would be solved.
Appart from that, remember that we were talking with about Heroes, well, I have never thought about that, actually my only heroes until now are my parents. I don´t have an especific heroe. In my opinion, you don´t need ANY superpowers to be a Hero, you need only to be good to your partners. I mean, that anybody can be a Hero.
I hope you like this reaction, bye.
Hey Agustin what a fabulous reaction!!! I am glad that you can realize we have to be the way we are and that conclusion about heroes was the best!!!
Keep on writing, you've got so many interesting things to say!!!
